Jason Thomas wins at Montreal SX '09

Fresh off his win at the 32nd annual Montreal Supercross earlier this month, BTO Sports.com/BBMX/Palmetto Suzuki’s Jason Thomas is once again packing his bags and heading to a foreign land. The Bercy Supercross in Paris, France is this weekend and it will be a good chance for JT to race his new Suzuki and continue to see where he stacks up against the best in the word. This race has been memorable for the long time top privateer as he last competed in the race in 2003. His 2001 race must’ve set some kind of record as he rode every, heat, semi, LCQ and main event all three days there.

“I’d like to thank my team for helping me out, my mechanic Dan Truman, Vince at BTO Sports.com and Xavier for bringing me over there” said Thomas “It’s going to be tough to win but my goal is to go there, try my best and put my Suzuki in the mix.”

BBMX rider Jason Thomas took charge this past weekend and swept the MX1 class at the Montreal SX.  Aboard his new Suzuki RMZ-450, JT$ was the class of the field Saturday night as he lead from the start to take the win.  It was a bit of redemption from last year, where JT finished 3rd in 2008.

"I'm really excited about the win up in Montreal and couldn't be happier.  The bike is awesome and my confidence is back up and I am riding how I should be" said an extactic Thomas about his win.

You can hear more about the JT's win and the switch to the new RMZ-450's from team manager Forrest Butler Tuesday night's Pit Pass Radio show.  To listen, log into

BBMX/DNA/BTO SPORTS TEAM RIDERS RACING THIS WEEKEND-

JASON THOMAS #45

KYLE KEYLON #130

SHAUN SKINNER #65

With two rounds left, the AMA Outdoor series heads to the infamous MX338 track, much better known as Southwick.  With it's close proximity to the Atlantic coast, Southwick is a true sand track.  The type of power robbing sand that will suck a rider in if he is not on his game 100%.  The BBMX crew of Shaun Skinner, Jason Thomas and Kyle Keylon are ready to tackle the sandy track this weekend.

Tires for Southwick look more like paddles than regular knobbies.

Shaun Skinner had an up and down return to racing last weekend at Budds Creek.  Shaun had a great first moto where he would run in the top twenty.  He would finish the first 450 moto in 15th spot.  The second moto did not go as well as the first when he would get a flat tire about half way into the moto and finish 35th.  Not the type of moto Skin-dog wanted after that impressive first moto, but a good first race back after sitting out most of the Outdoors to let his injuries from SX heal.  Skinner would get 19th overall on the day.

Jason Thomas had the opposite day from Skinner.  JT would get caught up in a first turn pile up in the first 450 moto.  His bike was too bent up to continue and had to settle for the 39th spot.  In the second moto, JT rocketed out of the gate to get through the first turn and battle in the tope twenty all moto.  He would eventually finish 16th in the second moto and grab the 20th spot overall.

Kyle Keylon tried to make his return at Budds, but problems prevented him from the motos.

Our lone 250 rider, Lucas Crespi had a day at Budds Creek he would like to forget.  Lucas did not have a great practice session, and had to race a qulifier.  Lucas would run off the track and get his race bike stuck in the mud, ending his day.
Lucas will be out the remainder of the series due to a broken foot sustained at Budds Creek.  He underwent surgery earlier this week, but will be out until Supercross.  Get well soon Lucas.

Be sure to watch the first motos on
http://www.allisports.com and then tune into SPEED for both the 250 and 450 motos live.

Budds Creek, MD- The DNA Energy Drink/BTO Sports.com/BBMX team has been tackling the outdoors with only two, sometimes three, riders but this weekend at round ten of the AMA Motocross the team finally had a full stable. Missing riders Kyle “The missing” Keylon and Shaun “Mr” Skinner both came back to join our rookie sensation, Lucas “George” Crespi and veteran Jason “Doubting” Thomas.

Skinner did real well all things considered when he came from a first turn crash all the way to fifteenth in the first race. The second moto, in the gooey mud, Skinner was running tenth before suffering a front flat. Thomas had some mechanical gremlins strike (we poured water on it but the gremlin got all bumpy and mad) in the first moto but when everything got real crappy, that was when JT shone through. His sixteenth in the second moto was a true testament to his ability to persevere.

But just when we think everything’s going our way, Crespi crashed in practice and broke some bones in his foot and Kyle saw a reoccurrence of his medical mystery problem. “We think things are going to turn around for us this weekend because our mechanic, Dan Truman, found $250 on the floor at a restaurant and ended up giving it to the unsuspecting lady that dropped it” remarked team manager Forrest Butler “So hopefully, the karma gods will be with us in the sand this weekend.”

This weekend the race is in Southwick, Massachusetts, and if you’re at the race, swing by the semi for a DNA Energy drink or an autograph.

With 3 rounds left in the AMA Outdoor Motocross series, the stage this weekend is Beautiful Budds Creek, MD.  Well, almost beautiful.  The weather has been anything but beautiful for the teams since arriving yesterday.  The weather is very wet, and with Hurricane Bill coming up from the Atlantic has the weather very ugly.  The pit areas are wet with puddles all over and from the looks of things, everyone is setting up for a mudder tomorrow.  One thing is for sure, if it is a mud race, the BBMX boys will be running strong.

Shaun Skinner is back under the BBMX tent this weekend at Budds Creek.

This weekend marks the return of BBMX team rider Shaun Skinner to racing action.  Shaun has suffered through the 2009 season after an altercation at San Francisco left him with head issues.  He has come back a few times this year, but has been on the sidelines since the end of Supercross season to let his head issues heal up.  "Skin-dog" is feeling ready to tackle the Budds Creek track and get some seat time in for the team.

Jason Thomas is ready to go for this weekend's race. After his good 18th place second moto last weekend, JT has shown to come on strong at the end of the motos.  Watch for JT$ to use his wealth of experience to run up front this weekend.

Team newcommer Lucas Crespi will again take on the stacked 250 class here at Budds this weekend.  Crespi rode his Josh Marsh tuned CRF250R, walked away with the Hard Charger award!  Good job Lucas! Lucas has proven that he has the determination and drive to run up front and is looking to continue is good runs this weekend here in Budds Creek.

Be sure to catch the live broadcast of Budds Creek this Sat. on NBC at 3pm est, rain or shine.  No matter what the weather will be like, the racing will be nothing short of spectacular. The Johnathan Beasly prepared track is one of the more scenic tracks on the tour with some dramatic elevation changes.  You can still catch all the first moto action at
www.allisports.com for the live stream.

The weather report for tomorrow at Budds Creek. It's going to get interesting...

DNA Energy Drink/BTO Sports.com/BBMX Take Unadilla by Storm

New Berlin, NY- As the racers and teams got near the end of the Lucas Oil AMA Motocross Championships, DNA Energy Drink/BTO Sports.com/BBMX's young hot rookie, Lucas “The Mask” Crespi, was just getting started in his career. Crespi just jumped into the pro ranks two races ago and had yet to finish outside the top twenty which was very impressive. The streak was broken in the first moto when the kid from Florida didn’t get the start he wanted and managed a 25th. That bummer was off-set in the second moto when Crespi scored a career best 16th. So far after only six motos, the rook has 14 points and is 24th in the series.

The DNA Energy Drink that we force feed our other rider, Jason “Solar Radar” Thomas, doesn’t seem to take effect until well into the moto. Thomas, a wily veteran of the series, was able to finish a credible 18th in the second moto but we’re mystified by his lap times starting so slow and then picking up to the point where his fastest laps are at the end. If JT$ can only go as fast in the beginning as he does in the end, we’d be onto something folks. No matter, we’re on to Budds Creek this weekend where JT has scored his best motocross finishes of his career.

Come out this weekend to Budds Creek, MD and grab an autograph, a DNA Energy and try not to step on JT while you’re there!
