11am - Round 5 of the AMA Outdoor Motocross National series starts back up from the one week break at the Lakewood, Colorado track of Thunder Valley. Round 5 is unique in the series as it is the only night round of the motocross series. That's right, Thunder Valley gets lit up for racing! Last year was the first year for the night race here in Colorado and it was a shashing success!
Both BBMX riders Jason Thomas and Kyle Keylon will be racing tonight here in Thunder Valley. JT is coming off a pair of 17ths from Mt. Morris, while Kyle has recovered from his nasty spill in the first moto of Mt. Morris that saw him with a few injuries. Kyle is all healed up and is ready to battle in the 450 class. JT has been taking the time off to celebrate his 30th birthday and to get in practice time with Chad Reed and Michael Byrne at Reed's track in Florida. JT is ready to take on the field here in the 'Valley.
The race schedule is unique here this weekend, as practice session starts at 1pm here in Colorado. The weather is super sunny at the track and it looks like it will be a good night of racing! Be sure to log into www.allisports.com for live stream of the first motos and then tune into SPEED for live coverage of the second 450 moto.

4pm - After practice session one, BBMX riders Kyle Keylon and Jason Thomas are running fast laps in the 'Valley. Keylon pis sitting in the 16th spot ad JT is in the 29th spot of their practice session. Kyle is looking good and the Thunder Valley track is really jiving with his style. Look for both JT and Kyle to move up in practice session two.

In the 250s, it is all Christophe Pourcel on top of the qualifying charts. The 450s have Josh Grant up top with Andrew Short behind. Mike Alessi is returning to the action after missing Mt. Morris due to a broken knee cap. Mike is in the 25th position. Tim Ferry is also returning to action and is in the 15th position. Chad Reed is sitting in the 10th spot. Look for Reed to move up in session two.
11:30pm - Moto one went off with both DNA Energy Drink/BTOsports.com/BBMX riders blasting off the gate. Kyle Keylon had a good start and was running well in the pack before falling out due to mechanical issues. Jason Thomas charged through the pack from 30th to finish in 21st. Good ride for JT, but Keylon had to regroup and get ready for the second moto.
With the second moto being run under the lights in Thunder Valley, Kyle Keylon snuck in on the inside of turn one to start the moto in 6th place. Kyle would run in the top ten for half the moto before he fell back to the 12th position, where he would finish the moto. A great ride for Kyle and shows what he is capable of when he puts his head down and gets a good start. JT wouldn't fair as well on the start, crossing the line in 26th on the first lap. JT would mount a hard charge and would get himself into the top twenty. JT would cross the finish line in 16th position at the end of moto two.
With a 35-12 score, Kyle Keylon finished 16th overall in the standings, and with a 21-16 score, Jason Thomas finished the day in the 22nd overall position. Both good rides for the DNA Energy Drink/BTOsports.com/BBMX riders!
As the teams pack up and head out, the series heads up to the upper mid west to Red Budd in Buchannon, MI. Log in next week for all the happenings in the BBMX pit area on and off the track. Remember to keep it pinned and grab the holeshot!

Mt Morris, PA- The Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championships visited the famous and historic High Point raceway and team riders Jason “JT$” Thomas and Kyle “Lanky” Keylon both did the DNA Energy Drink/BTO Sports.com/BBMX team proud. Keylon suffered a hard crash in the first moto and was sent to the hospital via ambulance. The end result was a badly bruised Colon, which was caused by landing on his handlebar. His tough year continues but we think that all this hitting the ground will just make him stronger. But we’re glad it’s him testing that theory and not us. Keylon is home now and doing ok, just pretty dang sore in the lower region...
Thomas got pretty much the worst start ever in the first moto but charged hard and the in-shape JT$ caught some fading riders at the end of the moto for seventeenth. The second moto was historic for being live on NBC network TV for the first time and our guy Thomas almost pulled the holeshot! It was a great start for Thomas as he ran fourth, then fifth, then sixth, then seventh and, well, you get the idea. The slick track posed some problems for Thomas as he eventually finished another seventeenth. It was something to build on for the next race in Colorado in two weeks, we think Keylon will be back by then as well.
At Colorado, stop by the DNA Energy Drink/BTO Sports.com/BBMX semi-truck for a free can of DNA and maybe an autograph!

Posted 9am - Round 4 of the AMA outdoor Motocross series heads to the east coast, to High Point raceway in the good state of PA. High Point in the past has been known as a mud fest, but this year it looks like the weather may hold off and give us great weather for racing. The track is groomed to perfection and is ready for the riders to do battle here this weekend.
BBMX riders Jason Thomas and Kyle Keylon are set to take on the High Point track this weekend. JT is feeling alot better this weekend from his injuries sustained back in Hangtown. His impressive ride for 18th in the second moto at Freestone last week is a positive sign that JT is back and ready to do battle. Look for JT to put in another inspired ride here in High Point.
Kyle is looking to better his race from last weekend, as he gets ready to tear up the High Point track. Kyle has a good first moto at Freestone, but mechanical issues in the second moto prevented him from equalling his first moto ride. Look for Kyle to step it up here in PA today when the grate drops.
The big news here this weekend is the absence of points leader MIke Alessi. While practicing on Monday, Alessi broke his kneecap. He has had surgery to repair the kneecap, but is out this weekend abd possibly a few other races. He is trying to come back sooner than expected, but only time will see. This leaves a three way battle now for the outdoor chapionship between Chad Reed, Josh Grant and Andrew Short. Anything can happen as the first three rounds have shown, with Ryan Villopoto bowing out and now Mike Alessi.
Be sure to check out the RacerX pre race show before you watch the motos this afternoon on NBC, which start at 4:30pm est. To watch the RacerX pre-race show, click on the link below: http://www.allisports.com/videos/racer-x-pre-race-show-high-point-raceway
Be sure to check back for updates from the BBMX team on and off the track this afternoon.
-CW Updated 12pm - With qualifying done, both BBMX riders are firmly in the motos. Kyle Keylon qualified in the 26th position and Jason Thomas is sitting in the 32nd qualifying spot. Look for both DNA Enery Drink/BTOsports.com/BBMX riders to be charging hard come moto one.
Josh Grant has stepped up his game as he is the fastest rider in the 450 class, followed by Andrew Short and Josh Hill. Chad Reed sits in the 4th position. In the 250s, Ryan Dungey is the fastest with Brock Tickle and Tyla Rattray rounding out the top three. It is shaping up to be a great afternoon of motos at High Point this afternoon.
-CW Updated 2:45pm - With moto one in the books, DNA Energy Drink/BTOsports/BBMX rider Jason Thomas rode hard and fought back from a horrible start to finish in the top twenty. JT started the moto in 33rd position, but steadily moved up through the field and into the top twenty to finish 17th place. Look for JT to continue his hard ride here in moto two.
Kyle Keylon would rocket out of the gate and round the first turn in 10th spot. He would fall mid pack and would run as high as 20th before mechanical issues would sideline him for the rest of moto one. Kyle would finish out of the moto in 39th position, but look for him to battle back in moto two.
Moto one for the 450s was won by Chad Reed, with Andrew Short in second and Ivan Tedesco in third. The 250s saw Christophe Pourcel take the win comfortably here in PA.
The second motos are set to go off here soon. Be sure to tune in to NBC at 4:30pm est for live coverage of the 2nd motos here at High Point.
-CW
Updated 10pm: The second moto saw only BBMX rider Jason Thomas line up for the gate drop. Kyle Keylon suffered injuries in a first moto crash and decided to sit out the rest of the day. JT would get a great start, blasting out and riding around in 3rd place for the opening lap. He would fall back to around 11th and then around th 17th position. JT would battle hard to keep his top twenty spot in moto two, as he crossed the checkered flag in 17th, equalling in first moto performance. JT would go 17-17 for 18th overall for the day. Not a bad days work for JT$, as he grabs a spot in the top twenty. JT rode hard and consistant for his pair of 17ths.
We wish Kyle a speedy recovery from his injuries suffered from Moto one and look for him to rejoin JT on the line for the rest of the nationals.
In the 450s, Chad Reed took a pair of moto wins to take the overall at High Point. Chad didn't dominate, as both motos he had to chase the Honda riders of Andrew Short and Ivan Tedesco for the lead. Chad rode strong and enjoyed his first 450 outdoor national win of his career. In the 250s, it was all Christophe Pourcel as he took the overall with a 1-1 score. Ryan Dungey had an up and down day with a 3-2 for second and Tommy Searl took his first podium spot in third overall since coming over here to the US.
The series takes a break as the teams get ready for the night race at Lakewood, CO. Remember to keep it pinned and grab the holeshot!

Posted 1:50pm - After qualifying 34th and 35th, both Jason Thomas and Kyle Keylon lined up at the gate for moto one of the 450 class. The conditions are hot at Freestone and the track has shaped up quite nicely. As the rocketed out of the gate for moto one, JT was caught up and ran over in a first turn pile up that saw a few others go down. JT would re-aggrivate his injuries he sustained in Hangtown and would sit the rest of the moto out. Kyle Keylon would get a mid pack start, but battled his way through the pack, fighting and eventually finishing in the 22nd spot from Tyler Bowers. Good ride for the Keylon.
The 450 moto one would be all Mike Alessi, as he walked away from Andrew Short and Josh Grant to take the moto win. Chad Reed crashed early in the moto and battled back to 5th spot.

Posted 7:30am - Round 3 of the AMA Outdoor natioinals visits the lone star state of Texas for the Freestone Outdoor Nationals. This is the second year for Freestone on the schedule, and from the looks of the track map and pictures, the track owner and promoters have learned from last year. This year's track looks better than the first run effort of last year, and it will no doubt continue the great racing that we have already seen in the first two rounds. The BBMX team is set and ready to go here in Texas.
Jason Thomas is all healed up from his crash at Hangtown and is set to go the distance here at Freestone. JT took the week off to heal up, but did put in some time on the bike during the later part of this week to get ready. Look for JT to be mixing it up with the front runners all day today.
Kyle Keylon is also set to take on the Freestone track. Kyle did not have the greatest weeknd in Hangtown last weekend, but with his head on straight this weekend, Kyle will be back to running his fast race pace.
With the departure of Ben Lamay from the BBMX team, only JT and Keylon are the sole riders under the DNA Energy Drink/BTOsports.com/BBMX tent this weekend and possibly for the rest of the Nationals.
The mechanics are getting the bikes ready for first practice, so be sure to check back for reports on the BBMX riders progress through the practice sessions.

Product: Wiseco Forged Clutch Basket
Powersports Forged Clutch Baskets & Components - Wiseco Piston Inc.

Wiseco leads the clutch aftermarket with high performance FORGED clutch baskets, inner hubs, and pressure plates. OEM clutch components are made from inexpensive die-castings that quickly wear out and become easily notched. Wiseco offers the only forged clutch components in the aftermarket for off-bike and ATV applications. The forged aluminum adds strength and toughness to the parts that are unparalleled through other manufacturing processes.
Each Wiseco clutch basket, inner hub, and pressure plate start as dedicated forgings built specifically to take advantage of features that can only be made through the precision forging process. Variable fillet blends and complex surfaces can be forged into the part that would otherwise be extremely difficult to produce. The raw forgings are then precision machined to very close tolerances, producing the same high quality parts as Wiseco pistons.
The finished parts are hard coat anodized and Teflon coated to offer superb wear resistance, and a long life of smooth clutch operation. Every new clutch basket is supplied with new components used during assembly, including new fasteners with pre-applied thread locker.
Wiseco will stand behind all Clutch Baskets, Inner Hubs, and Pressure Plates by offering a LIFETIME WARRANTY if they were purchased after 1/1/2009. This warranty covers breakage and notching and covers the original purchaser when proof of purchase is presented directly to Wiseco Piston Inc.
BBMX Team Review:

| Wiseco is a great company that makes quality products. We use Wiseco for all of our top end parts, such as pistons, rings, pins, clips, gaskets, along with all of their clutch components. Wiseco's unique forging process brings a quality that is hard to put a price on when it comes to clutch components. We use their baskets, inner hubs and pressure plates, and the extra life the Wiseco parts get out of a clutch is unbelievable. It becomes especially valuable in our rider's practice bikes, with the stock OEM clutch components, I would say we can get a few practice days out of a clutch before it starts slipping due to the wear on the basket. With the Wiseco clutch basket, along with inner hub and pressure plate, our guys get atleast 3 times the amount of time on each clutch The Wiseco Forged Clutch Basket has been race proven by BBMX for sure!

Sacramento, CA- The Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship rolled up to Northern California and the riders and teams were welcomed with beautiful weather and a great crowd cheering everyone on. After last week's race at Glen Helen, the team was anxious to move ahead with the rest of their motocross season. Team riders Jason “Solar Radar’ Thomas, Kyle “That is very” Keylon and Ben “mush, mush” Lamay all showed up on their finely WMI-tuned CRF450’s and prepared to unleash hell on the track.
Well, that was the plan anyways but sometimes, poop happens. In this case, the poop was Thomas taking a massive header right in front of the mechanics area and having to pull out of the day with some small injuries. Keylon rode hard but came up one place short in the LCQ to get to the 40-man gate. Our recent pick-up Lamay made the motos and came away with 33-23 scores. He also crashed hard in one of the motos but was out there giving it his all for the team. In short Hangtown wasn’t very good to the DNA Energy Drink/BTO Sports.com/BBMX team but we will persevere and go to Texas for round three ready to show everyone what our guys can really do.
After this race, Lamay and the team are parting ways, we had a lot of fun with Ben and wish him nothing but the best in his racing career. And if the racing doesn’t work out, he can always trap grizzly bears in his home state of Alaska.
