After a week off, the warriors of the AMA Outdoor Motocross series start back up for round 7 at the  Spring Creek MX facility in beautiful Millville, MN.  Millville is special for a couple reasons; the whoop monster and the debut of of fresh talent straight from the Amateur ranks.

Jason Thomas took the week off to dial in his setup for Millville. He has been riding ver well the past few weeks, putting in solid rides within the top twenty.  JT is ready to go and looking to improve is finishes even more.

Kyle Keylon has also been coming around and showing his speed in the previous rounds.  If Kyle can get away from the mechanical gremlins that have plagued him in the first half of the outdoor season, he can put two solid motos in.  We know he has it in him and we look for him to be right up there along teammate JT.

The BBMX tream uses Bel Ray lubricants exclusively.

Bel-Ray’s line of motorcycle products is the most comprehensive collection of high-performance lubricants in the world. Bel-Ray isn't satisfied with creating the best motor oils on the market; we apply the same diligent attention to formulation and testing to every product we offer. Along with industry-leading motor oils, Bel-Ray also manufactures chain lubes, transmission oils, gear oils, brake fluids, and many other specialty lubes for optimum performance and lubrication. When only the best will do, choose Bel-Ray.

BBMX Team Review:

We have been using Bel-Ray Lubricants for 2 full seasons now and they make a great product. We use everything Bel-Ray has to offer, from motor and transmission oils, to filter oil, brake fluid and everything in between. Bel-Ray has drastically improved the performance of our bikes on every level. I would say the biggest advantage comes in the aid of engine life and performance. Bel-Ray Gear Saver Transmission Oil stands out in multiple ways, the most noticeable being the time it takes to actually break down the oil. With other oils we have used in the past, the transmission oil quickly breaks down turning into a very thin, watery fluid, it also turns black in one to two rides. The Bel-Ray Gear Saver withstands the heat and breakdown process incredibly, and when it is time to change the oil, though it drains out darker than it went in, it never looses its thick, lubricating quality. "It's unbelievable to say the least.. I almost feel bad when I know I need to change the oil, but it still looks so good!" says chief BBMX mechanic, Jarrod Johnsgaard. The extra life we get out of clutches because of the Bel-Ray Gear Saver is incredible, it improves performance and saves money! The Bel-Ray Gear Saver Transmission Oil has been race proven by BBMX for sure!

Lakewood, Colorado-
The hills of Colorado and elevation of 6100 feet greeted the DNA Energy Drink/BTO Sports.com/BBMX race team when they showed up to do battle at the latest round of the Lucas Oil AMA Motocross Championship. Team riders Jason “Solar Radar” Thomas and Kyle “Tall glass of water” Keylon were both amped and ready to try their best.

Keylon in particular has been having so much bad luck that we sent him to a doctor to see if he had any black cat DNA in (or on) him as no matter what he tries to do, he’s been at the back and certainly the first moto it seemed that it was more of the same when he ended up 35th. The second moto, however, was a thing of beauty as Kyle ripped a massive start on his WMI-tuned CRF 450 and ran in the top five for a little while before finishing 12th. It’s Kyle’s first points of the season and we hope it’s a sign that his talent, luck and speed are all coming together. “I felt great out there and now I know how fast those guys go and what I need to do to get up there more often. The starts help a lot and my WMI motor ripped me up the hill like a pack of wild silverbacks” said Keylon after the race.

The teams other rider, Jason Thomas got tangled with some other riders in the first moto and finished just out of the points coming from the back. Second moto he did what he always does, just rode a steady pace and picked off rider after rider late in the race to get a 16th. We rewarded his hard work with a DNA Energy Drink after the race in hopes that it will get him pumped up for the start next week. He’s like a little puppy, when he does good he gets a treat!

This weekend in honor of our countries birthday, stop by and get a free DNA Energy Drink and maybe, just maybe you can talk to one of our riders.
